Medieval Coventry is delighted to be involved in this exciting new project approved last week. The transfer of the portfolio of heritage assets by Coventry City Council to Historic Coventry Trust has been lauded by heritage agency Historic England as by far the largest and most ambitious in the UK to date.

In total there are 22 individual properties including Whitefriars Gate, the two remaining medieval city wall gates, as well as 19th-ccentury Drapers Hall, on the site of Coventry’s medieval Great Drapery.
