From Wednesday 21 July to Saturday 28 August, Holy Trinity Church will be hosting a special display that sheds light on its incredible Doom painting that dates back nearly 600 years. The exhibition provides a useful interpretation of the painting and highlights some of its significant features. It also urges visitors to ponder over some of the painting’s more enigmatic female figures and decide for themselves who they might be.

The exhibition been made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England as part of the Cultural Destinations project and to support by the Coventry City of Culture Trust. The funding has also enabled the church to install special lighting to better illuminate the Doom.

Medieval Coventry is also re-running its successful ‘Royal Women of Influence’ exhibition at Holy Trinity. Originally on display at the Drapers’ Hall in 2018 during the Heritage Open Days, the exhibition was so well received many people asked for it to be repeated.

Opening times: Saturday and Wednesday 11am to 3pm
