You are warmly invited to the official launch of the recently published Historical Map of Coventry.

Holy Trinity Church, Coventry
Friday 12th November 2021
4.30 pm to 6 pm

Light refreshments included

The map, produced by Medieval Coventry and the Historic Towns Trust, is the result of several years of research. It’s based on the 1913 OS map and captures the moment when Coventry was changing rapidly from a town with a medieval streetscape to a modern, industrial city. Surviving as well as lost buildings, streets and other features are indicated and there is a comprehensive gazetteer.

The event will be opened by Lord Mayor John McNicholas and there will be talks by Professor Peter Coss and Dr Miriam Gill. It will end with light refreshments and the opportunity to purchase the map.

The event is free of charge, but tickets are limited.
